Rawhide Creek Ranches
Rawhide Creek Ranches is a one-family operation with some of the finest deer and antelope ever found in the United States. We hunt on our own ranches and on private leases that consist of about 250 square miles in Wyoming and Montana.
We control hunting to assure our guest of a top quality deer and antelope hunt of a lifetime. We boast of over 80% repeat business.
When you hunt with us, you can even hunt 2 states in the same day. In Wyoming, we have a house with modest cabins, hot showers, and hot meals. In Montana, we have just about the same except the guests sleep in cabins along with a log cabin as the main headquarters.
The antelope range from 13" to 15" with some 16+" every year. Our deer (mule and whitetail) range from 125 to 185 gross class B&C every year. Our hunts have been featured in many magazines, TV and newspapers all over the United States and Europe and we accommodate hunters from all over the world.
Fair Chase, Fenceless Hunts
There are no fences here and our hunts are fair chase only. We spot the game by using spotting scopes and binoculars. Then we work hard to get the hunter the closest high-percentage shot that we can. We do this because your first shot is usually your best shot. We discourage running shots. The guides all carry spotting scopes & binoculars and are excellent judges of trophies. We try to make shots under 200 yards.
The hunter makes the final decision on the shot based upon what you are looking for and your guide's judgment.
We obey all state and federal hunting regulations.
Location
We're located in southeast Montana and northeast Wyoming along the little Powder River where the Powder River mule deer herd in a non-migratory area.
